Terms and conditions

for consumers / end usersVersion: 2 July 2026

These terms and conditions ('Terms') apply to any use of the LinerGuide.eu platform, including the website, the associated application(s) and all services offered on it (together: the 'Platform'). The Platform is offered by LinerGuide.eu, part of LinerGuide.eu, based in Denekamp, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 02088351 ('we', 'us', 'LinerGuide').

By visiting the Platform, creating an account or using the services, you ('user', 'you') accept these Terms. If you do not agree with (part of) these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

2. Applicability

These Terms apply to all consumers using the Platform. Deviations are only valid if confirmed by us in writing. In addition to these Terms, our privacy and cookie policy applies, which can be consulted separately on the Platform and which, together with these Terms, forms the entire agreement between you and us.

We may amend these Terms; see article 15.

3. Description of the service

LinerGuide offers owners of large campervans, liners, converted tour buses and comparable XXL vehicles a platform to find spots, campsites and campervan pitches suitable for the size and weight of their vehicle. We do our best to keep the information shown as up to date and accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee this; see article 12 (liability).

4. Account and registration

For certain functionalities you must create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the details provided at registration and must keep your login details confidential. You are solely responsible for all activities that take place under your account. If you suspect misuse of your account, report this immediately via the contact details in article 19.

We may refuse, suspend or terminate an account if you breach these Terms or if we have a reasonable ground to do so.

5. Permitted use

You may only use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes, namely searching for and sharing information about spots for large campervans. It is not permitted to automatically search, copy (scrape) or reuse the Platform or the content on it for a competing service, unless we have given prior written permission for this.

6. Prohibited conduct and prohibited content

When using the Platform and when posting user content (including photos, texts and reviews), it is at all times prohibited to:

We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards racist expressions and discrimination based on sex or other personal characteristics. Violation may lead to immediate removal of the content concerned, temporary or permanent exclusion from the Platform, and, where necessary, reporting to the competent authorities.

7. User content and moderation

You remain responsible for all user content you post. We do not review content by default in advance, but reserve the right to assess, move, edit or remove content, and to (temporarily or permanently) deny users access to the Platform, if content violates article 6, these Terms, or the law, or if we otherwise have a reasonable ground for this. Removal does not affect our ability to report a violation, and the user remains liable for the consequences of the content posted.

Users can report content from other users via the designated function on the Platform or via the contact details in article 19. We aim to assess reports within a reasonable period.

8. Photos and other user content — rights

By uploading a photo or other user content to the Platform, you declare that you are entitled to do so, i.e. that you are the creator/rights holder yourself or that you have the required permission from the rights holder, and that the content does not infringe the rights of third parties.

You remain the rights holder (copyright holder) of the photos and other user content you upload. By uploading, you grant LinerGuide a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable and royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit (for example in terms of format or quality) and disclose this content, for any purpose related to the Platform, including the operation, promotion and marketing of LinerGuide, in all current and future media.

Because the licence is non-exclusive, you remain free to use the same content yourself or to make it available to third parties (including other platforms). The licence granted to LinerGuide remains in effect for content already published, even after you have terminated your account, so that, for example, an existing location page remains complete; for content that you actively remove yourself before terminating your account, the licence ends at the moment of removal, except for content that has by then been distributed or archived elsewhere (for example in backups).

To the extent permitted by law, you waive your right to object to reasonable edits to the content (such as cropping or format adjustment) in the context of normal use on the Platform. Attribution for content is not standard, unless explicitly promised elsewhere on the Platform.

The processing of any personal data in or accompanying content (such as your name with a review) remains subject to our privacy policy.

You indemnify LinerGuide against claims by third parties alleging that content you have uploaded infringes their rights, and against all damage and costs arising from this.

9. Intellectual property of the Platform

All intellectual property rights to the Platform itself — including the software, database, design, texts, logos and trademarks (with the exception of user content as governed by article 8) — belong to LinerGuide or its licensors. It is not permitted to copy, distribute or otherwise use these without our prior written permission, except to the extent necessary for the intended use of the Platform.

10. Subscriptions, payment and right of withdrawal

To the extent that certain functionalities of the Platform are offered for payment, the prices and payment terms shown at the time of ordering apply. All prices are in euros and, where applicable, include VAT.

As a consumer, you generally have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons. For the supply of digital content not supplied on a physical medium, this right of withdrawal lapses once performance has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Where relevant, we ask for this consent separately when completing your order.

11. Availability and changes

We make efforts to ensure good availability of the Platform, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may adapt, expand, limit or (temporarily) take out of service the Platform or parts thereof from time to time, for example for maintenance or renewal.

12. Liability

The information shown on the Platform about spots, dimensions, weight limits and accessibility is partly based on data supplied by users and third parties. We take care regarding the accuracy of this, but cannot guarantee that all information is always up to date, complete or correct. It is up to you as a user to verify on site the suitability of a location for your specific vehicle.

Our liability for damage arising from use of the Platform is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to direct damage and to the amount you have paid us for the services in the twelve months preceding the event causing the damage, with a maximum of €500. This limitation does not apply to damage resulting from intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of LinerGuide, or insofar as mandatory consumer law prescribes further-reaching liability.

13. Indemnification

You indemnify LinerGuide against claims by third parties relating to your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or user content posted by you, except insofar as the damage results from intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of LinerGuide.

14. Privacy and cookies

The processing of your personal data is described in our separate privacy and cookie policy, which can be consulted on the Platform. That policy forms part of the agreements between you and us.

15. Duration, cancellation and termination

You can terminate your account at any time via the designated function on the Platform or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account in the event of a breach of these Terms, subject to a reasonable period, unless the nature of the breach justifies immediate termination (such as in the case of serious or repeated violations of article 6).

Articles which by their nature are intended to remain in effect after termination — including the articles on intellectual property, liability, indemnification and applicable law — remain fully in force.

16. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the Platform or our services, please contact us via the details in article 19. We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.

17. Amendment of these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The most recent version can always be consulted on the Platform. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you of this, for example via the Platform or by email, prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

18. Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these Terms and to the use of the Platform. Disputes will be resolved by mutual consultation as much as possible. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the competent court in the Netherlands has jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to turn to the court of your own place of residence if mandatory law so prescribes. Consumers can also make use of the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
